Such a cozy room...

We came home yesterday and everyone is doing well and very glad to be home. Finn had an ok first night, he wanted to eat A LOT from 2 am - 5 am....so not a whole lot of sleep. Charlie loves having him home and has been fantastic so far. She told him yesterday "Finn, I'm glad you are my brother and I love you in my heart".

Settling in..

I'm a little tired and ready for bed tonight so I'm not going to caption all of these new ones but I think they are pretty self explanatory.

Hi - My name is Finn.

 Here he is - Finn Huson. Born at 10:01 am.

He weighed in at 5 lb 10 oz and is 18.5 inches long with a 13 inch head.

First picture with Dad in the operating room. We had a surprise C-Section when it was discovered that Finn was breach after Robin's water was broke.

Charlotte is very excited for her brother and keeps talking about how soft he is. We think she will be a great helper.

We are resting comfortably at Riverside Hospital now and will be here until Wednesday or Thursday. Thank you to everyone for all your kind words and encouragement!

Welcome..first post...

Welcome, if this feels a bit familiar it's because it is - deja vu all over again, as they say. While our production on Charlotte's blog had admittedly tapered off, we still love to  go back and look at the pictures in chronological order and relive our adventures. What a shame it would be if we didn't have the same for our son so... as we patiently await baby boy's arrival we will get this new blog started with some nursery pictures. Tomorrow will mark two weeks until the due date but we are hoping that he may decide to come sooner - wish us luck.

 Charlie is very excited and can't wait to meet her little brother. She says that she is going to help change diapers, feed him, soothe him at night, and teach him things. She thinks his name is going to be Coconut.

 Of course our little guy will be raised up as a proper sports fan...which means no Ohio teams other than the Columbus Crew.

That is all for now - everyone is doing great, if not just a bit antsy and uncomfortable (Robin). We have a doctors appointment tomorrow so perhaps we will be able to report some exciting progress. Cheers!
