Oh the leaves on the trees are fallin'...

Hello everyone, here are some fall pictures that have not been on Facebook - including the Halloween pictures from last night. Finn is doing well but battling through his first head cold right now - he sounds like a pug or bulldog trying to breathe through his nose. He smiles a lot now at faces, his mobil, and some toys. He has been with Nana Rose for two weeks now during the day as Mom is back to work. He still is sleeping well (knock on wood) waking once around 2 am for a bottle.

LOL, he had a rough time at the Pumpkin Patch..it was cold and he was tired.

The Mighty Finn...

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay - been very busy with work and doing some traveling. Here are some of the latest photos. He is 6 weeks old now so the 1 month pics are a couple of weeks old. I will try to take some more this week. Finn is doing great, getting up once at night for a bottle so sleeping very well! Mom is still at home with him and has about a week and a half left of maternity leave.

Finn loves looking at his mobil, playing in his play-yard, and looking at his sister. He hasn't give a full smile yet but we are pretty certain that Charlie will get the first one. He will give happy coos to his mobil and sometimes to Charlie as well. Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes and all the thoughtful gifts - we are very greatful!

Reelin' in the weeks...

2 weeks old and doing well - gained 7.5 oz last week and is back above birth weight.

Charlie is still having fun with him and telling him about living in our house.

Closeup of his contemplative look, he give us this one quite frequently.

A hug from sister while on the playmat.

A rare shot with both of them looking.

Another hug from Charlie..

Enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having with mom in the backyard, well sleeping through the weather.

Love this one..

Some shots in the crib with some of his friends courtesy of Charlie.

Finn and the ladies.

Old man legs...

What?

First bath when he finally lost what was left of his cord.

That is more like what a bath looks like...

The first cut is the deepest...

As the title indicates, Finn's first Michigan football game was a rough one..although he didn't seem to mind. I'm pretty sure that the amenities of the man's basement comforted him as he looked around and learned - someday this will all be mine..

Another first, as in Finn's first dinner out at a restaurant. We stuck with tradition and took him to the same first place we took Charlie - can you guess? Why the Villa Nova of course! He was excellent and slept through the entire experience.

Things are still going well with Charlie and Finn, she has accepted him into the family and loves to check up on him but is not overwhelming. She has  been loving school and we believe her transition to full time in a few weeks will be smooth.

More sibling love..

Finn still sleeps quite a great deal, he just today hit his actual due date so he is officially supposed to be out in the world. He has been sleeping pretty well but the last couple nights he has become a little more restless. In addition, Dad caught a cold/cough and kind of stayed at arm's length for a week so as not to get him sick.

Finn's first sleepy smile caught on camera, not sure why it is blurry. Most of these are camera photos but this one is especially bad. Oh well. Life is good and we are progressing along nicely. Hope you are all well.

Such a cozy room...

We came home yesterday and everyone is doing well and very glad to be home. Finn had an ok first night, he wanted to eat A LOT from 2 am - 5 am....so not a whole lot of sleep. Charlie loves having him home and has been fantastic so far. She told him yesterday "Finn, I'm glad you are my brother and I love you in my heart".
